The AtomStack P1 comes in two versions:
Single Laser Version: Includes a 5W diode laser.
Dual Laser Version: Includes a 5W diode laser and a 1.2W infrared laser.
If you're looking to work with a broader range of materials, like metals (gold, silver, brass, platinum), plastics, or dark acrylics—the dual laser version is your best bet. But if you're not sure yet, you can start with the single laser version and then add the 1.2W infrared laser later if you need it.
