A New Beginning of Crafts
Hi so this is me Ali.
Now let me take you on my exciting journey into the world of Laser Engraving.
After re locating from the South coast of the UK , to the beautiful North Wales with my husband John… This is where it starts.
I originally got a digital cutting machine, which I didn’t know then, would take me on to another world of crafting and the magic of the Laser engraver.
So, I originally bought a very low watt, actually 5watts, thinking this would be ample, but for me, no. So, within 4 months I’d jumped to the more powerful 20watt output laser, AtomStack A20 pro to be precise.
Overcoming Challenges & Mastering the AtomStack Laser
So, having a good head around a pc, software, formatting, I thought this is going to be a breeze. The power of AtomStack 20 watt laser and its capabilities blew my mind, with a bit of trial and error, it eventually started to come together, very nicely as it seems.
I was in a lucky position to sell a few bits of what I had made where I work, my colleagues were rather impressed at my results, and the “ooo, what have you made now?” Now this is where the next exciting part begins.
Venturing into & Succeeding in the Craft Fair Scene
After I was no longer able to do this. The world of The Craft Fair came into my life!
I bit the bullet and booked my first fair, feeling nervous, with was what to come. I grafted for 9 days solid, come on my little beauty Atomstack let's get this stock up. With hubby by my side, my life changed, again.
I sold a few things I was chuffed to bits, but more so for me It was the wow love that, on what I had made. Bespoke hand painted, some multi layered, laser engravings.
So, here my journey with the most wonderful team at AtomStack started, their support has been amazing, with some very surreal moments thrown in too.
Many more craft fairs are now booked, and I’ve even been accepted into an Artisan Trading company, offering some of the biggest and best Artisan Fairs in North Wales.
