Important Safety Notice and Recall Information – ATOMSTACK P1 Laser Engraver (European Union)

Dear Valued Customers,

We would like to provide an important update regarding the ATOMSTACK P1 Laser Engraver in the European Union.

Following an assessment by the Bavarian Trade Supervisory Authority (Germany), certain aspects of the ATOMSTACK P1 were identified as not meeting the safety protection requirements expected by the market surveillance authority. AtomStack fully acknowledges these findings and is cooperating with the relevant authorities.

The observations raised include, among others:

  • The magnetic safety interlock may be bypassed under certain circumstances.
  • The removable bottom plate may require additional protective measures.
  • Additional safety enhancements and safeguards have been requested to further reduce potential risks during operation.

Although no safety incidents involving the ATOMSTACK P1 have been reported to date, AtomStack takes product safety seriously and has initiated corrective actions in cooperation with the relevant authorities.

Recall Scope

As required by the relevant market surveillance authority, this recall applies to all ATOMSTACK P1 laser engravers placed on the European Union market before 28 January 2026.

Measures Implemented

As part of these actions:

  • Authorized distributors have been instructed to stop selling the product within the European Union.
  • Recall notifications have been issued to affected customers.
  • We continue to monitor online marketplaces and take action against unauthorized listings where necessary.
  • Customers are advised to stop using affected products and contact AtomStack for recall assistance.

Customers located within the European Union who own an affected ATOMSTACK P1 may contact our support team at support@atomstack.com.

Our support team will provide detailed instructions regarding the recall procedure, including return arrangements and available compensation options.

Future Product Development

AtomStack is currently developing an updated version of the product incorporating additional safety measures and design improvements. Any future version will undergo further evaluation and compliance review before being considered for sale in applicable markets.
